Preparing a PowerPoint Presentation

Remember that one of the two team outcomes for your webquest is the development of a creative, evidence-based, and brief 5 minute Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that your team will present to fellow learners and that relates your findings about infant sleeping position

Microsoft Office 2003 PowerPoint program is very powerful. For this assignment, it is not expected that your team use all the "bells and whistles" of PowerPoint. You should, however, pay particular attention to using appropriate colors in your slides, using appropriate graphic and visual images, and following the flow set forth in the evaluation section for this item. Remember that, along with the faculty, other groups will also be evaluating your presentation, using the provided evaluation rubric.

If you did not do so for the Technology Orientation course prior to entering the university, it's now time to visit the computer-based training resources that are freely available to you as a student in this institution.

The directions in the Technology Orientation course pointed you to http://oit.utk.edu/cbt where you login to access these free resources.

This is the login screen you are brought to when you point your browser to http://oit.utk.edu/cbt

When you click Log in from the prior screen, you are taken to a window where you must enter your NetID and Password. These are the same items you enter to access your university email. Enter your information, then click Log In.

The next screen that comes up merely tells you that you have successfully accessed the site. Click on the Click to Enter Skillport CBT.
Another window will come up that says your login is in progress. To continue, you must click OK in the box that says Welcome to UT's New CBT courses Summer 2005.

You are then taken to a screen where you start burrowing your way down to the Beginning PowerPoint CBT that you need!
